HOLLYWOOD - Funnyman George Carlin was remembered in Los Angeles on Sunday as fellow comics joined his family and friends at a closed memorial service.
Bill Maher and Garry Shandling were among the comedians paying tribute to the late star, who died from a heart attack on June 22.
The 150 guests listened to Shandling and Carlin’s former partner Jack Burns as they recalled their favorite memories of the comedy legend, who appeared on a giant screen in a montage of his most famous routines.
