Madonna’s Childhood Home Goes Up in Smoke

HOLLYWOOD - Madonna’s childhood home in Detroit has been destroyed by fire in a suspected arson attack.

The star spent her early years in the house, along with her five siblings, before she moved to New York in 1977 to pursue a career as a ballet dancer.

The property, which is no longer owned by the star’s family, went up in flames this weekend, with police confirming they have launched an investigation into the fire.
