New program not only allows the sharing of files on Facebook, but also allows the swap content of iTunes.

‘DVD Jon’, or Jon Lech Johansen, is one of the most famous hacker in recent history, claiming the DVDs and encoding Apple FairPlay DRM as two of its highest encryption profile of the victims. His experience of the breakdown in these formats caught the eyes of DoubleTwist Ventures whose goal seems very user-friendly - to allow consumers to transfer media from any device to any other device without hindrance.

With the help of Mr. Johansen, DoubleTwist developed a desktop client called DoubleTwist Beta that allows music and the media, which is shared among a large list of players, regardless of the encryption of files involved. It also allows files to be shared over social networking sites through mooring in applications.

DoubleTwist founder and CEO Monique Farantzos maintains that the device frees consumers. Says media files should be more like email - no matter which service to create the file or file type, or the hardware, all files must work together smoothly. She worked with Mr Johansen and about 10 others to develop software for the past eight months.

The 20-Mr Johansen is something that pleased DoubleTwist hired him because he believes it is an opportunity to bring success to a wider audience. He says, “It’s an opportunity to write something for its Web site for use by a couple of thousand fans of technology” and goes on to explain how DoubleTwist is different that says “The goal is to do something that your parents can use. “

When you plug in an iPod, Zune, or another player, the client automatically recognizes its files and lets you drag them from your computer or drag other players, without going through the local security plans. You can also add files stored on your hard drive to the players, or backup files from the player on your hard drive. The system means that files purchased from the iTunes Apple released control and can be copied to virtually any device. The client automatically rerecords iTunes files you own legal in MP3 format (which does not touch the files that you do not legally own). The client also supports a large number of phones.

Better yet, interfaces with the customer through a Facebook Facebook Application TwistMe name, and lets you share files with people you have brought friendship. Facebook makes the application for file sharing as simple as drag and drop, and once the download is complete, it will appear on the desktop of your friend customer.

DoubleTwist have plans for their customer interface with all major social networks, the creation of a new revolution in P2P. It is currently working on developing an interface to the OpenSocial platforms.

Mrs Farantzos seen as key to this ability, stating, “closes the loop between the web, devices and the desktop.”

She said that the site is not trying to guide a trademark of Digital Rights Management, DRM, but in general. She said that her company is only after a great industry trend reflected by companies such as Amazon and SimplyAudiobooks, which have digital rights management DRM-free or partially free. Mrs Farantzos states, “Digital media is dominated by two players, Windows Media and iTunes, and each has his own agenda … we see ourselves as the Switzerland of digital media. We format and device agnostic.”

DoubleTwist pending a possible legal battle over the legality of his client and has maintained high-powered attorney Daralyn Durie of Keker & Van Nest LLP. It is also backed by the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), a champion of freedom of expression in line and rights.

Analysts believe that Apple and Microsoft can continue to be the mother of DoubleTwist to avoid bad publicity. However, they note that Mr. Johansen has had many past run-ins with the law of copyright and that if the customer becomes sufficiently popular Apple and others may feel compelled to take action. DoubleTwist also has yet to be attentive to the RIAA and MPAA.

For now, users, especially users of Facebook, can enjoy a revolutionary piece of software that both breaks barriers and provides a unique experience P2P.
