Starbucks gets a new partner customers WiFi access

Coffee is a big business here in the United States. Starbucks has grown from its humble roots in the Northwest to the point where you can now find at least some 5 miles within a radius in any big city in USA. Fast food chain McDonalds has even in the act of making money from the success of the “premium” coffee.

In an effort to provide better “at the store experience for their customers and distance itself from the growing threat McDonalds, Starbucks has announced today a new strategic alliance to provide WiFi service to customers. Beginning in the spring of 2008, 7000 + Starbucks stores in the U.S. Pass T-Mobile WiFi access to AT & T.

“As we continue to supply our technology so that both improve and expand the Starbucks experience for our customers, we have made a strategic decision to expand our relationships with our partners long AT & technology T to consumers Wi-Fi technology, “said Starbucks CTO Chris Bruzzo.

Starbucks said that its customers who wish to continue using T-Mobile Hotspot access will be able to do so without problems thanks to an agreement between AT & T and T-Mobile.

According to the company, the Starbucks card holders will be allotted two hours of free WiFi access per day at Starbucks stores. As DailyTech reported at the end of January, existing broadband AT & T and AT & T U-verse customers will have free access to Wi-Fi at any time.

“This is what our customers have been waiting Starbucks quality free Wi-Fi,” Bruzzo below. “Through our new partnership with AT & T, we also welcome millions of their existing customers can now come and enjoy free Wi-Fi as part of their daily Starbucks Experience.”

Customers without a card or a Starbucks broadband AT & T has paid 3.99 dollars per two-hour service, or $ 19.99 a month’s worth of surfing.
