HP 2133 sub-notebook breaks cover

ASUS PC’s Eee took the world and the mobile industry by storm. The small, two pounds device has a 7 “screen, 900MHz Celeron processor, SSD (ranging in size from 2 GB to 8 GB) and wireless connectivity.

HP is also seeking to enter the market with its new 2133 ultra-portable. According to leaked images obtained by upgradable, the 2133 comes with a 8.9 “bright screen (1366×768), the 95% full-size keyboard, ExpressCard slot, WLAN and an integrated camera. SSD will be an optional device, and it is very likely to be 1.8 of the “variety. Users can choose between Windows Vista or Linux operating system.

When it comes to style, the HP 2133 makes the PC ASUS Eee look rather plain and boring. The 2133 has a soft, elegant and has an exterior made of anodized aluminum. According to HP, the exterior is also free of screws more emphasis on good, clean look.

As is usually the case with the leaking of information about future products, there is no word on pricing for the new ultra-portable device. Given the characteristics and aluminum body, the 2133 is likely to be priced much higher than the PC Eee that starts at a mere $ 299. Opting for the SSD is safe to push prices even higher in the stratosphere.
