T-Mobile joins the club unlimited minutes
Yesterday Verizon Wireless launched a line of cellular calling plans that include unlimited anytime minutes with fixed rates starting at $ 99.99. AT & T Wireless announced that the division will also offer similar plans with unlimited anytime minutes, on Friday.
It seems that T-Mobile does not want to be excluded from the club since it joined the fray with the brand T-Mobile unlimited calling plans will be available one day earlier than AT & T, next Thursday.
The transaction announced T-Mobile is similar to the basis of the plans of Verizon and AT & T new offers unlimited minutes at any time. However, T-Mobile plan can shine a little brighter, because it includes unlimited text, picture, and instant messaging.
Details regarding a phased approach similar to Verizon were not included in the notice, but T-Mobile will most likely offer different plans to compete with Verizon and AT & T.
With 3 of the top 4 is unlimited wireless carriers, Sprint is a “strange man” for now. Sprint, however, has been testing the unlimited minute plans at any time, in some rural markets, but there is no word yet on whether the company was trying to go with all the other players at the table.
