Thompson given until March 5 to prove that he has not “abused the legal system.”

Whenever a tragedy occurs, it is almost a fact that Florida lawyer Jack Thompson is making a beeline for the media closest to his voice predictable view that video games are the cause of the violent explosion, and has made several attempts to use the legal system to further their cause, however, the Supreme Court of Florida seems to be back on strike.

GamePolitics, which has had no shortage of communication with Thompson in the past, it is reported that Thompson himself had sent the Florida Supreme Court “Show Cause Order” which was sent to the office of Thompson earlier this week, and has published the following excerpt from the Exchange email:

CAUSE OF 02/19/2008-SHOW

A: BRUCE JOHN THOMPSON

It appears to the Court that has abused the legal system by filing numerous frivolous and inappropriate filings in this Court.

Therefore, you should be ordered to show cause on or before March 5, 2008, why this Court does not find that you have abused the legal system and process to impose a penalty for the misuse of the system legal, including, but not limited to the Clerk of the direction of this Court to reject any future for the filing of pleadings, motions, petitions, letters, documents, presentations or other submitted to the Court signed by at least one member of the Florida Bar other than yourself.

The phrase “frivolous and inappropriate numerous presentations” stresses a member of the community of family game with Mr Thompson less than stellar record in an attempt to influence the gaming industry. Mr Thompson virulent response was equally amusing and confusing, as the eggs in the same court which serves the announcement:

This is the single greatest gift that any court has given me in my 31 years of practice of professional activity. I now, through a new federal lawsuit, deconstruct Florida Bar … This court has threatened Thompson. He does not threaten the back. Was informed this court that he will see it in federal court.

The court of Florida looks forward to this aspect.
